We are having HP Data Protector for taking backup of servers and Databases but while trying to install the HPDP client on new server getting the below error:
The omnisetup.sh script didn’t finish last time
Client still has to be installed. (omnicf integ da ma sap)
The omnisetup.sh script can now continue the unfinished installation
or it can ignore the saved state and start a new one.
If you choose to ignore, the script will erase the saved state
and will process only the command line options
Do you want to continue the unfinished installation? (Y/n)
Resuming (using possible CLI options)…
No Data Protector software detected on the target system.
Packets going to be (re)installed: omnicf integ da ma sap
Installing Core (omnicf)…
Setup cannot continue, Installation of Data Protector Core packet failed.
In order to fix this issue, Need to check Core-sd.log and swagent.log.

As per the above Core-sd.log, it not able to open the logfile on this target or source due to the media is read-only or there is a permission problem. Need to check the daemon logfile and “/var/tmp/swagent.log”
Below is the error found in swagent.log:

permission on host. Sat, Mar 4, 2017 05:54:21 PM IST

As per the above logs the logfile is not able to open due to read-only media or permission problem. Need to restart the software agent to fix this issue.
